Quick question for redoing the seats on my cruiser...is seat frame rebuilding a thing? (as in to tighten slop and repair controls) and who would do that?
Seat frames are spensive, hoping to avoid getting new ones. even used ones.

I showed the shop manager and it seems like you could either have someone fabricate the part or get a new frame (for $350 from Cruiserparts)
Some new fasteners could tighten some stuff up, too.
I don’t know who could fabricate it.

I should say this seat ain’t mine. Used for illustration. Mine is not busted, just sloppy

A decent auto electric or trim shop should be able to do the basic “strip, clean, and tighten everything down” stuff. Beyond that I’m not sure.

It looks like in the picture that nothing is missing, just broken and out of place, if it’s not crappy metal, it could easily be welded and reinforced. I wouldn’t hesitate to put that back together.
Crazy expensive for used parts, there must be a market!
